For my ADV350 I use an oil with the specification:
API SP, JASO MA2
Oil (1.5 litre) and filter changes at 5-6000km
I have been purchasing this Scooter Race oil by the carton when on sale.
Meets API SP (or newer) and JASO MA2 which is higher than standard than API SL (or older) and JASO MB.
JASO MA2 is performance‑oriented classification for higher stresses (e.g., frequent acceleration, hill climbs, or racing conditions). JASO MA2 is top quality for wet clutches (and yes, the ADV350 is dry clutch, but I'm buying into the fully synthetic and API SP rating).
Another oil that that has interested me is the semi synthetic Yamalube Sport Plus 10W‑40 JASO MA2 API SL (Yamaha’s own brand)
I'd consider a semisynthetic but API SL but change the oil more frequently.
Currently on 3.3 sale on Lazada for THB198 per litre ((and Liquid Moly is 3x price)
