I'm riding on '01 Honda Shadow 1100 (Slasher) and going to change it to '07-'09 Honda Shadow Phantom 750 or '03-'04 HD Sportster 883 C in the beginning of the next season (april maybe), and in Thailand now I'm testing Phantom by Tony's BB.

My latest ride and project to tinker with is my CRF250L, which has been modified from standard. The important modification can not be seen from the photos. Lets just say it`s a totally different bike now from standard, it`s still 249cc.

This is my current line up. Two examples of the same theme: made for an asphalt road that is, but so different in (almost) every aspect.

In Australia,
I have a 1981 BMW R100RT Police Special (my Off Centre Rally bike), and
a 2007 Kawasaki ER6.

In Thailand,
I have a 2012 Honda Wave 125 FI with electric start and front disc brakes.
Am looking to add another bike in Thailand - maybe a Versys or a Honda 500X (new) or something second hand to do the mountains with.

While I'll go down some snotty dirt, my preference is for tar.

Finally all road-legal in my name, not the most practical but it is still a beast!

2004 Honda CRF450R - work in progress!

Decided against buying another bike - ride / rode conditions do not suit large cc bike with 17" wheels.
Instead, have put Yss shocks and Michelin M62 tyres on this steed - now done 10k in 6 months.
Next trip will be to Omki and surrounds last week July.

It started like this

an all black beauty, but which for me does not do much for photographs.

So it's now like this

with a bit more colour tweaking to go in the coming weeks...
Back on the road after 3 months waiting for parts after a 2nd gear 40kph bingle 400 metres from my house...

Honda Valkyrie F6 1520cc / Honda CRF250L

GT-Rider Valkyrie-CRF250L.jpg

I have had the Valkyrie for about 7 years and apx 150k km. No problems with he bike whatsoever. One service at Red Baron every year keeps the bike running nice and smoothly.
Been with the bike to every Chiangwat except Narathiwat. (Don't really know why I have not been there).
I will change the 4th and 5th gear to lower the rpm at cruising speed when I can get hold of the parts.

In the 2 first month with the CRF i did 10k, mostly dirt. And one run Pattaya-CM i one day. Just to prove to my **** who is the boss:)
Would like some more power, though.

Looking for a mid range bike but nothing decided yet. Versys, NC 700 or Duke/Enduro 690!

Picked up a ZX-14R last month- I haven't had too much time to ride with a lot of business/family stuff going on, but it always puts a smile on my face when I get on it.;)

So far I've done the following mods:

Brock's Performance CT Single QuietKore titanium full exhaust
Power Commander V w/Brock's Performance street map
Spiegler braided-steel ABS brake lines with EBC HH pads
Pazzo folding levers
HID 6000K headlights
Zero Gravity Double Bubble windscreen in dark smoke
Back-Off brake-light flashing modulator
Driven racing fuel cap
CF heel guards
Hyperpro steering damper
Yoshimura frame sliders

I'll be flashing the ECU in a couple of days to over-write the low-power setting and changing it to a map set up for increased mid-range power (no, it doesn't need it, but I want it...)

Actually I'm riding two great bikes - H-D Sportster Custom and H-D Roadking. Harleys were my dream for a long time, so after four seasons on russian and japaneese bikes, I've at last got it.

2001 Sportster Custom
Little evil devil for city riding with Vines&Hines exhaust, C&C air filtering system and 88" Big Bore engine kit. It's not so wide like my Roadking or BMW 1200GS, so it's good to ride between cars in the traffic. Not so comfortble on the highways, its my ideal bike now for every-day riding. This winter I want to install solo seat and springer fork to make it some "old school" look

k0k0s813.jpg

2003 Road King
After 5000 miles on a Sportster I understood that everything is okay, but I want for comfort in long trips - and Sporty is quiet small for two persons. I've thought about Electra Glide and 1200GS by BMW, but suddenly...

My new great toy! Very big, very heavy, but awesome! I've made a Nordkapp trip (4000 km) with it and a circle for Tallinn - Minsk - Lvov - Kiyv (3000 km) with it. In next season I'm planning a really long ride - 9000 km to Portugal and back again in 4 weeks.

My current rides are 2 94 ZZR1100 Kawasaki D2's, one is a relative stocker called "The Pigs Sister" and the other is "The Pig", the pigs nowhere near stock with the petrol tank probably the only thing stock on it, 183hp at the back wheel and only 187kg down from 237kg.
DSC_0460sml_zpsedd78cae.jpg

The Pig is regularly modified so goes in and out of being ridable , I love the big ZZR1100's, they are tough as nails, very hard to break, go hard and pull 2 people very well with a ton of gear. Both my ZZR's are high mileage with pigs sister only 400k's off turning over 2000,000k's and the pig got rebuilt at 146,000k's.

I currently have 2 RGV250 Suzuki's, one has a worked XR650 Honda and the other a Husaberg 501 in it, am also running a VFR/RVF400 race bike at the moment

As I had severe health problems and am now just a shadow of my former self I had to sell all bikes (FJR1300, SRX600, DR250) and get a 'spine-friendly' one here in LOS. Now I'm riding the trusty Nouvo 135 which had a complete front rebuild and I bought a T-Max 500 from a nice Gentlemen (Dutch) in Phuket for a very good & resonable price. Nut (Pistonshop) was so nice to fly down there of course against reimbursement of costs and a 'thank you fee', get all parts and spares plus documents and had it shipped to CNX the best way possible (sinlge closed pick-up to Bkk and from there in a closed 10-wheeler truck to CNX, bubble wrapped !!!!)
Photos are with courtesy of the former owner, once I have fitted the Italian made 52 lts Trekker GIVI box, rebuilt the back end to original I will of course post my own. Akrapovich system alone gives the T-Max500 a real good sound !!!!

Very nice bikes mate!
Shame we have little choice of creating something like what you have with the bike market as it is in Thailand - but this is getting better by the month it seems!!

Reeeeeeeeallly wanna see a pic of the RGV with the XR650R engine in it!!!

many thanks Ian, improving from 68 kgs now up to 75 ! As for the T-MAX 500, I think it was the colour plus Akra exhaust system that made the decision easy for me 5555. B.rgds, FR

Got so tired trying to keep up with all the nice new releases here in Thailand that I made the decision to buy the best one in order to stop thinking about new bikes. It worked.
