Ranong - Kanchanaburri - Cambodia - Chiang Mai

Arrived here in Ranong in 2018 and bought a new Honda CRF 250 Rally and did over 5000 kms traveling central and northern Thailand. Arrived back here last week and just spent 6 days diving out in the Andaman Sea on the Live Aboard Miss Moon. Now time to start planning the next trip, hoping to depart late Feb and try my luck getting into Cambodia. I have read plenty of threads about the trials and tribulations associated with taking bikes across borders - so i will do some more research before I look for advice - unless anyone has sure fire advice on crossing from Thailand into Cambodia and return. Cheers all.

Man, you gotta love that sunset in the first photo!!! I've not (yet) ridden down that far south, but there have been a couple of photo-rich posts through 2018 highlighting the beaches and islands that have had me drooling... it is at least 8 years since I've seen an ocean...

Hopefully, a recent Cambodia explorer has some advice / suggestions for you, so good luck! And don't hesitate to add to the GT-Rider pool of knowledge if you find out anything that might be helpful to others....

Got Harry out of storage, has been there since May 2018. I had disconnected the battery and covered it. A part from mould on the seat, it was in pretty good nic and started immediately once the battery was reconnected. A few short trips over the next month or so then will head north.!
