As this town is 'synthetic' and new you'll find all hotels & Resorts on one road.
On the same road there's also the 2 new shopping malls and some food centers.
In my opinion somewhere I won't go on a private trip, soul-less..........

tayed in a rather cheap but clean place called GOLDEN GUEST HOTEL (you guessed right, chinese.....)

Hotel was clean and also had acceptable breakfast, bungalows with huge rooms but furniture from Index.............

I've been to NPT a few times on business, staying in the huge, empty hotels, being the only guest. It is a totally bizarre place - Interesting but, as you say, soul-less, and not a place to visit for anything other than business.
