Up For A Ride - Who's Coming?

Was great to catch up with Ian and Franz, Nikster and Luke, JG and his wives and the rest of the gang at #1 bar.

Fun blast up Doi Inthanon, though a fair bit of holiday traffic to dodge

At times it felt like we were the tourist attraction?!

Then down the back road to Mae Chaem for coffee and Khao Soi

Oh! And after lunch I got bit by a dog, but fortunately as I was wearing good gear the pooch only got to chew on CE armor and not my leg

The 1263 to Khun Yuam was busted up in spots but wasn't as rough as Ian led us to believe.

And the 108 to Mae Hong Song is still world class!

Pleasant rooms at the Rong Thai Guesthouse only 600 baht and walking distance from everything-

Checked out the night market followed by dinner and drinks at the Crossroads and a 2 hour massage to work out the kinks. Life is good!

Next big trip kicks off next week- we're headed to MALAYSIA!

Meeting up tonight over beers to finalize the itinerary.

Will post up a trip report in the Malaysia section once we are underway.

A bunch of us plan to meet at Khao Khiew and do a bit of bush bashing this Sunday. Always fun. Always challenging!

Meet at ~8-8:30am (link below) ride for a few hours and stop for lunch and drinks at the wonderfully cool Khao Kiew Country Club. Then another session in the afternoon.

Hi there, guys. I came to Chiang Mai to have some chill out after my Southern Thailand big journey...but spent here 2 days and I feel how I need to ride. Iäve made already Mae Hong Son small loop and a few times + different loops in Chiang Rai, Golden Triangle, Mae Salong direction, and I can repeat the, or go to the Sukhothai...anybody in? Shall start 22-24.dec with a 250cc CBR or 400cc CB with average speed around 100-120 kph.
