Sadly that trick has been used on a few too many rides that should of ended up before nightfall enveloped us. It has worked to get this blind as bat rider wobbling into a guest house in far off cities. For others thinking of utilizing the said technique keep in mind all is not perfection. I still remember the Thai gent I followed up his driveway into his home late at night thinking it was Lukes taillight I was following. Poor bugger was scared to death with the farang following him into his homestead. Had to wait for Luke to come back and rescue me.
For those of similiar sight capabilities I'll second keeping riding at night over here to a minimum.
