Planning SE asia motorbike adventure

Hi guys.
New to forum.
Half baked plan for a month motorbiking, sightseeing, beach living in SE Asia, this winter.
Anyone got some good advice on how and where to get a bike and legal requirements.
(Is there a section of the forum for this?)
Open to Vietnam, Cambodia, or Thailand.
Are living costs, travel, hassles all around the same?
Thanks for any advice and experience.
