Pacsafe wire cut - how to join?

Yesterday I forgot to put the wire of my Pacsafe around and it went in my wheel. Fortunately no off or damage to the bike.
However the wire is cut. Any recommendations to connect it back? In Australia I would go to a big DIY shop and get a
