I was exploring around the back blocks of Mae Rim and stumbled across Sala Cafe which I have heard about. Its a really neat coffee shop/bakery with good Thai tucker at sensible prices. Quite a little gem actually:thumbup:.

Absolute peace and quite with good views and friendly staff but not so easy to find as its up an unmade road but there are signs.

as tasty as anything I've ever eaten - incredible mouth watering flavours: "Pork Loin Roll with Black Olives & Avocado Fill with Cranberries & Ginger Sauce - on the side are roasted potatoes and baby peas with almonds."
Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

loads of Thai food too.

First class service & excellent English

IMG_3120.jpg

most of the gals have been to school in Oz & know how to speak good English with confidence.
Check the place out sometime. Well worth a visit just for the polite English language service even: & then there's the excellent food too.

Located on R107, the east side, between the Siam Commercial Bank & Lotus Express, almost adjoining Lotus Express.
