Import Motorcycle To Laos And Extend The Permit

Hello,
i just started working in Laos and i will be here for 2 years. Can i import my motorcycle (kawasaki versys x 250) to laos? And regarding the import permit, i read in this forum that you probably would only get 2 weeks or 4 weeks import permit
