I just had some LED lights installed by Kong @ Kong Service Shop

You can see the quality of the work from the photos.

Long tail of bare wire 'shoved' into spade connector, only single strand remains connected. Lights designed to flash when horn sounds for more-than 2 seconds. Mechanic response: Cannot get it to work/not working.

Additional new wires fail to use appropriate connectors to existing wiring and instead have simply been twisted together.

Wire runs through brake leaver causing potental chaffing at pinch point.

Right-hand-side fairing tab with blue retaining clip.

Left-hand-side retaining tab missing.

Closer inspection indicates fairing tab has been snapped off. Fairing now rattles. Mechanic response: 'it might be lost' and 'it's not included it's okay'.

Light switch mounted upside down so display LED lights cannot be observed when riding. Rotary dial increases or decreases light intensity and number of corresponding display LEDs on switch.

Other previous issues with this mechanic include: missed worn brake pads during brake pad inspection. Stripped thread on airbox cover. Failure to use appropriate lubricant on critical shaft and bush. (Used engine oil instead of high melting point lithium grease).

I cannot recommend this mechanic.

Sorry to see this.
Yes, upsetting.

As an update, I've been negotiating with Kong.

After trying to deflect the breakage to a riding occurence he's taken ownership of damaged to the fairing and will be ordering a new fairing and fitting it at his cost.

I'll post back again with an outcome on replacement repairs.
