Re-stickering the Versys after my crash 3 months ago.
The "motorbike sticker chang" at M-Sticker has gone - moved to the other side of Hang Dong, so a bit far from Mae Rim.
After riding round town & coming up with zilch that would be convenient I gave the north side of the super one last try.
and
Jackpot........

One of the "problems" with sticker jobs, is it takes time.
So you need to do something to kill the time, well Panda Racing is a winner there because of its location.
50 metres away is the Esso petrol station

So what you might think?

Well it has a nice aircon coffee shop with free wifi.

Hi all..... anyone know where I can get a new perspex/plexiglas screen cut? The lil Thai shop just off Charoen Muang (not far from the soapy's, lhs after the bridge leaving town) seems to have closed down.

<----- Need a bluey for the Old Feller!

I think you will find Zeromet has them, but if you're coming from Chiang Rai I think that Chiang Rai Saddlebags probably has them too.

Thanks Tony,

I'll check it out. Got a Nice Shark RSR2 for fast Highway but could do with something for when it's slower and rougher without the need for Goggles. I do like the peak to help as a SunVisor and the increased Airflow from this style of helmet

Hi David,

They didn't have that Model. I found a very good price on a AGV AX-8 DS EVO Helmet on a US website.
It's due to arrive any day, and I haven't been getting stung by import Tax recently, although items seem to take a couple of weeks to clear customs , there's been no charge with USPS delivery :shh:

Hi, i realise im bumping a very old post, but im looking into some pannier frames at the moment.
Can i ask if this is two separate frames rather than one complete? (it looks like it)
Just that i was under the impression that it would be one complete piece (i dont mind separate though)
I already have a box frame on my bike and a friend suggested having some extensions wielded on.
Now im wondering if it is normally two separate frames for panniers, or one complete wielded together frame?
If both options are a possibility..what would you recommend please, and why?
(My bike is a dtracker 250 cc..and for now it is for soft panniers but if budget and availabilty permits later, would like to upgrade to hard panniers. ..so would be good if its the same frame design for both. If not..just a simple frame for soft panniers is all i need for now)
THanks!

I had a rack and pannier frames mild in mild steel and decided to have them chrome plated, they have finished being chromed and are put back on the bike

Just a heads up for those looking for good priced decent road tires for bikes such as my dtracker 250cc.
Nat at Piston shop has a promotion on Pirelli Sport Dragon tires at 4900 a set.
He has only 24 sets (at the time of writing this anyway).
I read a few reviews before buying and seemed positive.
Apparently similar to IRC tires but feel better on lean angles.
So thought id pass that on. =)

In search of a new Camelbak hydration reservoir & nozzles a Google search turned up Sportsworld at Kad Suan Kaew.

So off I went to KSK.

As luck would have it just a few shops before Sportsworld on the 2[sup]nd[/sup] floor of Kad Suan Kaew I came across Packs Etc.

Jackpot for me.

a small smart clean store packed full of Camelbak + Deuter gear.

A bit of a goldmine I thought

Heading out of town towards Bo Sang, the shop is 950 metres past the middle ring road, on the right hand side.

Alternatively heading into town from the outer ring road it is 2 kms from the outer ring road.
