12 kms south of Chiang Khong, right by the FB4 bridge overlooking the Mekong & Laos.

A small new open air restaurant & a great spot to chill out at dusk on the Khong. Friendly happy staff.

Recommended for a getaway from the "hustle & bustle" of Chiang Khong megacity. 55

Khao Soi Jaing Khong

Undoubtedly the best khao Soi in Chiang Khong city.
A spotlessly clean restaurant with an easygoing relaxed atmosphere—indoor/outdoor dining.

Excellent value for money @ 60 baht when you ask for "special" pee set serving.

Highly recommended.

It's more traditional in CK. Not unlimited mayhem as in the main cities.

That's ok as I don't like to be wet all day. Ten years ago one could go out dressed for dinner and ask the people not to pour water on you and they were ok with it. Ok you always got some drops from a water gun but today they don't care anymore and you face a bucket of water over your head.

Tricky navigating the premises, nooks & crannies, stairways and entrances.

Give it a go. You will come away amused & hope that they can get their act together to succeed.
