Now for a bit of a waffle…..

I think I've ridden just about all the roads I need here in North Thailand & fast as I want now, so intend to go back to focusing on the scenery / people / attractions & build up my photo collection once again.

Once upon a time in my old Library Service shop I had a big photo collection that scores of people - travelers & journos - came to see & get ideas of places to go & see in North Thailand. (I lost all that 15 years ago when I separated & divorced the ex-wife.)

I'm hoping to recreate that again with the network of GT Rider websites we are building.

Our Doi Mae Salong site is now # 1 on Google.
In the coming months we hope to get more up there to help the local communities & get more people to stay & tour in North Thailand.

Life here has been extremely good to me & I want to make sure I put something back, not just take from the locals.
:lol-sign:
An update....times moved on....

The individual up-country websites created for the GT Rider network are now all integrated in the main GT Rider website.

To see them check out these GTR provincial guides

With these GTR provincial guides click on the menus on the left hand side of the page to get a run down on all the local attractions in the province.

Ride & enjoy....take your time.....smell the "coffee"

Looking for a report to dump a couple of new images for the Mae Hong Son Loop, from a few weeks ago before I went to OZ.

Wat Phrathat Pang Mu

a "new" hill top temple north of Mae Hong Son, that the TAT wants to promote for Mae Hong Son.

A work in progress, but no doubt its going to be a stunner when finished & with a view over R1095 & Pang Mu "city."

Location. East side of R1095. Pang Mu village. 6 kms north of Mae Hong Son.
GPS: N19 21.340 E97 57.910
Check it out sometime. It should be spectacular after the rains.
