Why would that be?waverider;287266 wrote: ...a big fender makes it more unstable especially at high speeds
If well made and solidly attached, it looks like it might even create downforce on the front of the bike at speed which must surely be a good thing, no?waverider;287266 wrote: I think its only for looks, a big fender makes it more unstable especially at high speeds

That's what we would like to think but I believe that in reality, the accounting guys have as big an input into the final product (parts used etc) as the design and engineering guys. Even much more expensive bikes (think BMW's, KTM's) suffer from some inferior parts. Otherwise, there would be no aftermarket suppliers selling the likes of suspension, exhaust, dampers, seats, tyres.... the list goes onjimbobs;287278 wrote: Although the versys is a relatively cheap bike (not to me tho) , it must have been tested in a professional environment ,that wind and various ground conditions contributed to a final design,,,,,it would be ignorant to think that we mere bikers/ modifiers

Fitment looks quite good doesn't it?

I am going to run my bike like this, less beak.
I made a few sets so if you want one too, it is 3200 B to go the beakless way and 4500 B with beak
And for you beak lovers:

As per the original design, you can use just the side fairings or fairings with beak
How many do you have?Hoghead;291984 wrote: 5000 B if you want one and K Korn will even fit it for you
