Tyres for Laos Cambodia

Hi I plan to ride through Lao into Cambodia using H13 Stung Treng. My bike is an XR250 and is in need of new tyres. With the current dry dusty tracks which tyres would / should I go for?. Should I carry spare tubes puncture kits.
