The Nine Day Northern Thailand Tour

Hey Greg, awesome looking trip mate, brilliant pictures tell the story of a great adventure. Im going chiang Mai in December but only time for a 3 day loop this trip, followed by 18 day trip from central to south vietnam. Was thinking about what bike to rent in chiang mai, sounds like the Vstrom 650 is your recommendation, what were the highlights of the bike? Also, daft question but how do you attach the google maps daily activity? All the best Wayne
Hi Wayne,
I still like the cb500 as it is small and nimble. The vstrom is more comfortable and has better brakes but more cumbersome in tight corners. If you're going quick, the 500. Cruising, the vstrom

Google maps go to the top left 3 line thing, select the paper clip and it lets you copy the path. Hope this is correct, as can't check due to dead computer

Keen to see what central and southern Vietnam is like. I've been to the north and that was fantastic.
Cheers, Greg.

Nice one Greg, definitely cruising not speed for me, i drive the versys 650 at home, so the Vstrom sounds ideal, thanls for tip on attaching maps,.... watch this space ha ha ;)
