Amazing, Epic, fantastic, Adventure..

What a great ride through amazing trails..

We Farang were fortunate enough to met a great bunch of Thai dirt bike riders on this trip.

I have no doubt we will all do lots more riding together. Thai and Farang.

Epic report Tony.. Must be a Northern Thailand forum record.. 6000 reads in less than 3 weeks..

Hi Guys,

Felt inspired this evening to start looking at the GPS tracks..

First step to show the route we took.. Need to tidy the tracks up a bit.
Hopefully done in the next few days and made available for all to download as well as uploaded to Open Street Maps.

If you have the ESRI map.. this has a lot of the trails already.. Then use these tracks that will be uploaded for any gaps.
Also a lot of the trails are in Google Maps..

After dinner back down the 323 and our hotel / guest house.

I think it would be much easier for everybody else if they didn't have to go back so soon. Do it a bit slower and it wouldn't be so tiring. Just need more days off

I've given the KLX a good going over and discovered that the insulation on the stator coil wires (which sit right on top of the engine) was partially melted and starting to crack- I'm guessing the stator was shorting out on day one, but by day two the lead was covered in enough mud and dirt that it didn't give me any trouble for the rest of the ride! :mrgreen:
