Thailand Bike Weeks

Hi Dave,
I was in Suphanburi last weekend and I saw a large size poster advertising a Bike week on February the 28th next year. I took a pic and will post it soon.
Also, therewas one for a bike week in Lopburi on the 30th or 31st of January, can confirm after next weekends event in Ayutthaya.

The committee has just started meetings to plan this event in Khon Kaen and to try and improve on what was a good event last year.

Dates now firm for this event. Friday and Saturday day and evening events. Venue will be just off Highway 2 Adjacent to Khon Kaen Makro store. Poster and events timetable available shortly.

"Welcome to Khon Kaen Bike Week 2009 Vol.02. Event is intended to promote safe while fun riding and tourism in Khon Kaen & Northeast area of Thailand. Luckily, we can expand the show and event up to two days 20-21 Feb.09. The big evening party will be held on Sat.21 Feb.09.

From last years positive event feedback , the event committee have gained support from the Municipal and Tourism Authority of Thailand to run Vol 2 in 2009. We have also received very kind sponsorship from local businesses and motorcycle companies,assisting in our effort to achieve one of the best motorcycle events in Thailand. No doubt, this will be one of the most attractive meeting points for bikers to enjoy.

At the event you will see a motorcycle show, be able to test ride the big brands, enjoy great food&drink, purchase accessories of different brands, as well as see the coolest show performed in Khon Kaen. Also the Best Chinese Lion dancing in Thailand, Best little musician in Thailand. Moreover, the sexiest girls in town will gather to perform in the evening. Are you sure about Bangsaen bike week being on the 31st of October?
On the Harley Davidson playground website it says the 6-7 of November.

Last year was a good show,just a pity that it concides with a lot of other events on at the same time.
Last year after the Sirinart bike show,on the 3rd night the festivities continued with a huge gathering
again just up the same road at the 700 year stadium but this was not advertised,beats me why?
