Ive been wearing these boots for the last 4 months.
They're comfortable and Ive got use to their fit and feel.
CE 2 2 2 2 rated, so the highest protection available for a full height boot.
My feet and calf's don't overheat or get damp even when riding in 'feels like' 46⁰C. Very happy about that.
The boots didn't take much breaking in. Its possible to walk in them easy enough, such as climbing down reservoir embankments, and a bit of exploring on foot.
One feature is they're built to prevent hyper flexing of ankle. This means I have to adapt my feet forward riding position on my Honda ADV350.
Its not an issue but needed some adjustment to foot placement and muscle memory in order to effectively brace the foot and keep the weight light on the handlebars (and prevent while body from sliding forward under heavy braking or downhill).
Foot flat on the Honda ADV350 running board is not an issue
The lacing system is okay, but as other reviewers state, need cleaning to keep the turn buckle operating smoothly.
Only downside is the Velcro closure hooks being incredibly strong and tending to pull and comb the threads out of the tongue very very easily.
If the vecro hooks into the tongue its a cringing painful experience tearing away to free. After only a short time the amount of pulled threads is growing, making the situation exponentially easier to cause more damage.
I wonder what the tongue will look like after a few years. I have to be very careful and adapt my technique every time I put the boots on/off, but I'm still getting snagged up.
I went one size up from my usual shoe size.
