The Toy Ride Banner & Sponsors
Some of the toys for the 100 kids at the school
Patiently waiting with a Toy Ride clown to keep the kids amused
Polite well disciplined kids
There were 2 clowns to keep the kids entertained
A speech from Khun Raat on behalf of the Chiang Mai Toy Ride committee
San Tor School principal
Kru Pen
The gang of the day
The toy give away
Fun for all
Which soft toy to choose
There were school bags for the older kids
Kru Pen got a lovely doll
Contented
Super Happy
Sabai
A happy picnic day
A soft toy, balloons & a boxed lunch.
It was a fun day at school
Lunch time at San Tor School
The kindergarten kids had boxed Chiang Mai Toy Ride lunches
After lunch - hygiene & time to brush your teeth
While the kids were at lunch their new toys guarded the fort & the empty classroom
I think there were quite a few happy kids at San Tor School that day & all because of some motorcyclists caring for them.
More fun & games
The school library with a donation of educational books
Kru Pen & Mary accepting the books
A big surprise was a new computer for Kru Pen in her library
The Chiang Mai Toy Ride also donated footballs, Frisbees, basketballs, & badminton sets to the school for the kids to play with. And they certainly did on the day!
Time to go & the kids were brilliant helping take down the toy ride banners
It was a great day out & very rewarding being able to help others not so fortunate.
Thank you to all those riders who made it on the day.
And a BIG THANKYOU you to the 2009 Chiang Mai Toy Ride Sponsors.
The next Chiang Mai Toy Ride charity event should be a school donation to a mixed hill tribe school out past Chiang Dao, near the Burma border.
All riders are welcome to come along & join in. The more the merrier.
