Recent Pics from the rains in Laos

Sorry 2 wheels the only info we have from the post is the heading of the album; Pakse Dondet Liphi Khun Pha pheng.
They come from my wife Aors friends Facebook page, we have posted for more details but she is still holidaying there so no replies yet.
I've never been there myself but recognise some of the the places with a lot less water in them. I was really thrilled to see so much water getting through to the lower reaches of the Kong with all the damming they are doing upstream nowadays.Maybe someone who has been down that way may recognise where it is.
And a couple I took from someones blog of a place I have been. Vieng Veng. Hope I'm not breeching any copyrights.

The place on the Mekong in 4000 is at Sala Don Khone. The place isn't accessible by bike as you have to take a boat there. It's ok but not the greatest place to stay as per a recent survey trip we did last week. It's about 10 minutes walk from the old French train down there.

Amazing what a difference a few weeks makes..
Imagine the Mekong will get higher with all the flood water heading down from up North.
A friend in Pakse said the water was near on the road in one part of the city.
Will ask her for some pics and share.
