Panor Brunch 'n Beers

Beautiful all the flowers in their colors and full bloom. Love this green landscape all around us. And this temple seems to be one of the nicer ones near Mae Chan. Will swing by next time i am nearby.
Its a particular nice temple. I am fond of it and the head monk has an eye for landscaping.

After the temple it was back to Panor for an Akha supper cooked by Miss Nids mother, who visited earlier in the day and brought home cooked food for her daughter. We made a video call to thank Nid's mum.

Spicy and delicious pickled bamboo, pickled cabbage and mountain squash. A great honour for me to receive such hospitality. Miss Nid speaks only Thai and her niece Miss Opal speaks only Burmese. Such are the complexities of border life and education in this region. Miss Nid's brother also joined us and we were soon juggling four phones with translation apps. :grinning:

Magical Northern Thailand.
