Hello,

I hope it is OK to post this topic, otherwise please just delete it.

This time starting november I will spend 3 months in Thailand and a pacemaker check is needed.
Did anybody do it in Chiang Mai or Bangkok and if yes, was it like: get a date and go to the hospital, check pacemaker, talk with doctor, finished - all in one go? Was it professional?

I am esp. interested in Chiang Mai, Bangkok Hospital or Bangkok, Bangkok Hospital or Bangkok, Bumrungrad Hospital - I know those hospitals can carry out the necessary check for a Biotronik pacemaker.

Thanks a lot,
I am also looking forward to further explore the north (and maybe east) of Thailand by scooter  - probably a Honda Wave 125 semi-automatic this time ....

Just ring the hospital & make an appointment.
It should be easy & fast, no waiting.
Ram hospital would be my recommendation.

Hi David,

thank you for taking the time.

I just emailed Ram hospital asking whether they can read my brand of pacemaker. Any reason why you prefer ram over bangkok hospital?
