You will be ok with Gasohol with your Versys its a new Bike there is no problem i guess.
Cheers
The Versys should take 91 Gasohol.. Look for a sticker with 91E or 95E on the tank..
If 91 gasohol is not available then put 95 Gasohol.
No point paying more tax for Benzine. As Colin said.. The bike is designed for Gasohol.
(I only put benzine in if there is no other choice out in the sticks)
The attendants will ask you Tamada (normal) or Gasahol if you pull up to a pump with both. If anything they will try and put benzine in, you will need to say Gasohol.
Just ignore E85... Doubt they would put that in unless you insisted
91 Gasohol (green)
95 Gasohol (orange)
If not sure.. Look at the price. About 1.5 baht difference between the two.
My 2010 carb model Honda CBR 150 has a E10 (Gasohol 91) sticker on the fuel tank. I bought her used and used only Gasohol 91 for 6,000 kms. Never a problem, starts with out the choke and runs great.
My neighbor is a motocy taxi driver and he will only use benzine in his new Honda Wave 125i. He's wasting money but its his money
My 2008 Honda Wave CZi would even run on E-20 (20% alcohol, 80% gasoline) and it ran great. E-20 is now 3 baht/L cheaper than Gasohol 91. Not a big deal on a bike but could add up for a car
Many thanks for all the replies, I guess gasahol is ok if the bikes being used a lot but benzine 95 for leaving it for a couple of weeks, thanks again gents for the replies appreciated.
