New Loop: Chiang Mai - Ban Mae Kampong - Lampang With Trip Report

I recently just charted a new loop (at least I've never heard of it) through Ban Mae Kampong over the mountains and into Lampang province on some pretty desolate roads. Very cool! Discovering new temples, staying in homestays, and visiting the lesser known places of Lampang.

Did this one in my Fortuner car recently, had to engage 4 wheel drive for some of the ascents and descents, the road is good quality concrete all the way from Mae Kampong to the Chaesom 1252 highway, but can be narrow, virtually no traffic.
