Naked version of the S1000RR on the way.

A naked S1000RR with 197 Hp...

Personally I don't really get the appeal of naked superbikes.

While they certainly LOOK cool, if you ride them as fast as they can go you'll get blown right off... :take-that:

I've heard from many that they like naked bikes for the looks obviously, but also for the fact that the wind slows you down before you go too far...
 
Yeah I like the nakeds.. and in part because I like to know that I am going 160 - 180.. And start to bottle it at 200 plus in Thailand.. I like that it keeps me a bit nervous, a bit sane, a bit that its time to come off the gas.

But even I tend to think a 190 something BHP killer uber sportbike.. Naked.. Starts to become a bit odd..

I mean, the shiver makes some sense.. I love the dusoduro machine or the 990SMT or superdukes.. But 190bhp 1000RR engine ?? Thats a bit too mental.
