The next meal will be a change of venue at a Thai restaurant proposed by Franz.

Full details coming soon, but the date is

WEDNESDAY 6TH OCTOBER 2010.

Thereafter we will be alternating the Chiang Mai city dinner venues with a fortnightly GT RIDER RENDEZVOUS RIDE up-country meeting in a smaller town, that you might not normally over night in due to lack of company / night life. We want to get you out riding & over-nighting in the smaller quieter towns, helping the local communities spending your bahts.

i.e......
Once a fortnight in town for a dinner.
Then in two weeks time meet up country somewhere for the night.
Then two weeks later back in Chiang Mai city for a dinner.

Got it.

The up country ride and dinner sounds like a great idea David.

Was awfully sore this Wednesday and had to leave early for painkillers and bed. Will see you on the 6th, but rounds of beer will be on me at Miguel's only! Of course we hope to see everybody back for GT Rider dinner night soon. Hate the injury and lack of riding, it's took me off bikes for my last two years in Canada; but eager to get out soon - thinking of a run late next week with breakfast provided. The back route to Doi Inthanon onto Mae Chaem likely :happy2: .

Did any more riders show up last Wednesday?
