Bungalow Rooms are 800 baht a night in low season & 1,500 baht a night from the 1st November
4 Bed rooms are 1,200 baht a night in low season & 2500 baht a night from the 1st November.
The 4 bed rooms
We opted the 800 baht bungalow with a view.
And we think bungalow # 4 is the one with the view to go for.
Other bungalows are higher, but then they have views of the rooftops...
Herbert from Pizza Primavera in Bangkok, has opened the Pizza Primavera restuarant in Mae Hong Son. Great pizzas and other Italian and international favourites, together with good wine selection. The restaurant is on the right on the main road just past the left turn down to the lake.
Herbert can also give you some tips on good local sights to see.
A classy establishment with excellent service & very good food.
Well worth checking out if you’re not on a budget.
Along the river road Lang Phanit & heading upstream away from town there is a series of cool little pubs.
Some of them have music & some are good just to chill out.
THE CHING CHING CAFE
a classic old building beside the river
& arguably with the best bar stools in the world.
& I certainly felt super relaxed gently imbibing there.
No music here, just a place to chill out in a lovey relaxed atmosphere.
