Indeed that's why they are in the Golden Oldies section.
GTR has been riding here for decades, long before many new expats even started riding motorbikes. I love it.
Thanks. It's been an awesome few decades and I've never tired of it or gotten bored hanging out in out of the way places with the locals. There are a lot of good honest people out there in the rural areas.
Fantastic that I have just seen the top photo pop up on Facebook, with a then and now image of the two ladies.

I took some 32 year old pictures back to the Akha village in Huai Sala, large framed prints that has sat on my house walls, and they gave them to the people concerned but I never saw the people again. Terrific to see them paired up like this.
Yes I should pop into that Cultural Centre - Museum too to set up to see what thet up & if they're were able to use my pics as well.
More villages should set up little museums with artifacts & photos to protect their history & culture.
