Hi. i could need some help since im no bike pro. :plol

want a trouble free and fun bike in bangkok.
im probably gonna have it for 6m-1y+ then leave thailand so sometihn that dont loose to much re-selling it would be really nice. also easy and fast to sell should i want would be nice.

im thinking a dtracker or a ninja250.

maybe this D-tracker would be an okay buy, comments? price is firm at 150k baht

Can't go wrong with either, D-Tracker would be better in the BKK traffic and has some nice upgrades, Ninja is well-priced so you'd lose less when it is time to sell. Flip a coin, heads = d-tracker and tails = Ninja.
 
If you ride only in BKK I'd definitely go with the Tracker. Easy to maneuver, high seating position so you see what's happening in front of the next car and a strong midrange.

No way I'd be crouching on a sportsbike with clip-ons that revvs to the moon!

The Ninja is not a bad bike but not in city traffic. I'd rather do a 200 km trip on a Tracker than a week in Bangers on a Ninja!
 
Hi Simon, back in Bangkok ?? I think you know how the Ninja250 fits you, the one you had in CNX wasn't bad at all, not was your friends CBR250 that's at my place now.......
Like the comments below, D-Tracker or a converted CRF250L should be best for Bangkok, I think the D-Tracker on Bahtsold is well eqipped but a little overpriced as no-one pays for extras. If you wait a little then I'm sure more options will come up soon. Will call you once I'm in Bangkok, Dinner is the order of the day.

Apparently people do pay for extras, if the few Versys which have sold for over their new price on here and other sites are anything to go by!

gtrider is a great place to sell and a bad place to buy......Most for sales here seem to fetch top dollar...
 
I would stay away from the dtracker u linked as you want trouble free. I would search for a unmodified one and mod it yourself this way you know your own issues......I paid 105k for a 2012 dtracker 250 with 700+ kilos.....

dont be afraid to make a offer remember asking and selling are not the same.......

I just bought a CRF250L for 130k in Bkk on Thonglor. Unless you find a used bike with low k's modified exactly the way you want it I believe its better to start with a new blank slate.
