So, I was in the location today, sussing out festivals and celebrations, such as the upcoming Sunflower Festival.
Chatting to some locals I was invited to return in February 2026 for a (low key) Lisu celebration.
I am very interested in joining the Lisu to celebrate.
Apparently more of an individual Lisu house celebration throughout the village. So, potentially well worth some footwork and walking around for that extra special opportunity to land a unique experience.
After receiving the first Lisu info I toured around chatting and attempt to verify info and yes, it seems reliable other than the specific dates in early February 2026.
