Having a valid lao visa from lao embassy in bkk i tried to cross into lao at puh doo and nakraseng borders -- NOT having touragency Papers.
It did NOT work. Friendl on both borders i Was refused to leave thailand without These tourpapers,as i was told that the lao side eout let me in
I should go to an intl point-- FB 4 ch khong/huaixai or FB1 nong khai/tanaleng, vientiane.....
Thats NOT why i made the laovisa in advance.......
So i got to nong khai to Figuren out it would last some 3 to 4 days to get the paperwork done at LOTUS LAO TRAVEL ---what to do 4 days ?????
BUT !!!!! finally found an agentoffice at 2pm -- got all done by 4pm
AH HONG TRAVEL !!! 2500.-baht
Within 2 hours , all completed, the guy , khun DEAW , saw me to the border, finalized all TM papers, called his couterpart on the lao side . She await me, got me the laopapers + insurance and i was teady to Rock n roll by 5 pm
2500.-baht ,incl insurace
He also can Provider for the mentioned Crossover ( puh doo or nakraseng) but has to know some days before
A good deal for 2500baht, worth the cash, no wait long and hang around
))))...must say ,i should have known about the new rules, from September 2024, if i read and inform carefully before- my fault ))))
