Also check the motorcycle engine capacity that the insurance actually covers you for. Multiple short term policies say they cover motorcycle riding, but in the fine print limit the coverage to a small scooter sized machine.
Am from Malaysia. Going to ride MHS Loop starting 16/09/22, entering from Sg Kolok border. Bought compulsory and 3rd party insurance from Thai insurer. Bought travel insurance with motorcycle cover from local Malaysia provider.
