How Many Curves??

The full MHS Loop is said to be 1864 curves/bends, yet I have heard from a MHS local that it is a total of 3934 curves from Chiang Mai north via Pai along the 1095 at 2070 bends and from MHS to CM via Mae Sariang and the 108 at 1864 bends.
Can anyone confirm the correct information.....my Brian Un Tshirt is on the line!!

Off hand the 1864 is for R108. Chiang Mai - Mae Sarieng - Mae Hong Son.

Did a rough count of the 1269, 1349 and 1265...CM to Pai via Wat Chan at 730+ curves/bends......loved this route

Never really counted them?
But I only have 10 fingers so I am no good to ask.
