The plan then was to cycle through Houei Xai & back.over the bridge with a pre approved Lao police escort.
AND
Still.Thai immigration refused. So the bicycles were trucked over, unloaded On the Thai side, the riders bussed over, & then they cycled through back into Thailand.
All a bit unnecessary I thought.
