Huai Sai Khao Hot Springs
Located off R1, on the East side of the road, 13kms kms south of the R118 / R1 road junction.
A small low key hot springs park set up.
2 nice salas for soaking your feet
4 private rooms for a soak in the tub
Be warned the staff all go off for lunch from midday - 1.15Pm = don't rock up at lunch time.
It is a good sized tub
That takes a while to fill up
But once it is full you can have a heavenly soak
Towells cost 20 baht & the room fee is a tip only.
I tipped 100 baht, and would have given more 150 baht, but only had 1000 baht notes left.
Top value for money I thought!

Hardly worth the effort, but..

If you find yourself in or around Ban San Charoen, and you have 'nobbie' tires, the highlighted track is a great ride.
A bit steep in the western part. I did it east to west on my Africa Twin when I got it.

Just a few more pics from this spa to add to Ians report. The new rooms are lovely 1000 baht with free use of the private spa facility.
Brilliant Guzzibs, thanks for that update. I've been wondering about a night thete for a while & wasn't sure if the place was open.
Now to find a companion for a nice overnight smooch in a hot tub.

Mae Dteep Hot Spring - Mae Yom NP, Lampang.
N 18° 38.360' E 100° 04.626'.
This hot spring is completely undeveloped in the National Park.
Just a small dams of rocks placed to enlarge a couple of pools.
It is located off the superb 1154 between Song, Phrae and Ngao, Lampang.
All the traffic goes on the 103 south of the Yom river. So, the 1154, on the north side, is a quiet windy road through the NP.
The hot spring is located down a 1.5klm dirt road on the north side of the 1154.
I imagine only the locals visit this spring as it is quite remote.
Not quite deep enough to submerge, but very pleasant and quite hot.

Since the fork of my bike is leaking oil and I'm waiting for new fork seals, I try to ride local.
So, there is a hot spring just a good 20 km out of Lampang—I thought, why not check it out….

I don't have much previous experience with such delights, so I cannot compare the quality with other hot springs around. I think they said the water held around 70 degrees. There was a small restaurant who served great «Patkrapao» and also cold beers for those who fancied.
The prices were 100 baht for the bigger tubs, 50 for the smaller. I didn't ask for the price for wooden tubs, but they were probably cheaper as they were outdoors and not private.
Yes, and 10 baht just to soak your feet in the pool in the restaurant.
The mandatory egg boiling….
