Great to see you out riding & enjoying your new bike.
Thanks for joining in on GT rider.
If you've been to Doi Inthanon I guess you never got to ride in Laos with your Dad then.

But what about these?

This sign at least had some style

The new one is kind of tacky in my opinion

Ha nice pics Dave.

Perhaps someone should start a new topic for pics of the "Most Northest Point of Thailand" so that forum members and guest can view and recognise the guys while riding in Thailand.

It can also be the longest bridge in Thailand - southern part ie Songkhla or the highest hot spring in Thailand - approx 60+km CNX-Chhiangrai.

Even the world tallest Buddist monument, " Pra Pathom Chedi" in Nakhon Pathom.

Thanks everyone for keeping this thread running...

Hopefully it will become a bit of a guest book for years to come...

Thanks for the pics Silverhawk.
Lucky you - my camera batteries cut out, or there would have been numerous photo stops that day. It was an awesome run up to Inthanon "the back way" without getting wet, then only 5 minutes of misty rain on the way down. It was a great day out.

I am so hacked off.

I rode all the way to Doi Inthanon in the pouring rain one day, made my way eventually to the top and camera wouldn't work

Next time

Ron, you need to put image tags [img ][/img ] either side of the web address like this... but I think webshots is blocking the link...

Northern Thailand is always a favourite destination for Singapore riders, coming here is like performing a pilgrimage.

Me here in 2005 on my GS1100

I probably wouldn't have thought of this, except for helping a young German guy who was trying to take his own pic by timer. I guess it's a popular thing to do, to take a picture here.

Been there, done that :D 8) 5 minutes earlier

I've something with highest spots. Even if Inthanon is not half as high as my max altitude on the bike until now, I will never forget the climb.
