Hi GTR i have arrived today in chiang mai and looking for suggestions on place rent a big bike to go out on, good place for food and good and banter with any fellow GTR members?

For a bike try MIss Yui Mr Mechanic, or Lan at C&P
Renting Bikes

For a pub & restaurant the Kafe is a cool spot.

The # 1 breakfast spot in Chiang Mai is Breakfast World.
The UN Irish Pub has a top full English / Irish Brekky, The UN Irish is also the best spot to watch live sports on TV.
The Blue Diamond is exceptional value delicious healthy food.
The Bier Stube is top value western food.

I'm just recovering from kidney stone surgery, so a bit restricted at the moment.

As David's suggestion any of the places near markets generally great for Thai street food.Its good food at Ian's X centre.
