Hello Bikers,
I am Manoj, from Bangalore,India. I have been riding from past 6 yrs in my trustly Pulsar 180 cc bike accross various part of India. Now i need you guys help in making my Bangkok to Phuket next February .
A Rookie question, Should i create a separate thread for the same in Phuket section?

My advice would be don't waste your time & money riding from Bangkok to Phuket.
Just fly into Phuket & rent a bike from there.
Quicker, cheaper & easier than finding a bike in Bkk & riding down, then having to pay for transport back to Bangkok again.

Thanks for the reply. I have overall 10 riding days. Is the road between Bkk and phuket that boring?
My plan was to ride Bkk-Puhket-Bkk

Yes boring 4 Lane highway most of the way.
Better to spend your time & money in the south.

Except Chumphon via Ranong to Phuket (Route 4) which is quite scenic with lots of curvy sections and numerous POI's. Total of about 360km.
