I will see how We go as I will have some Guys from NZ here for a 3 Night Ride. Last two Nights will be Chiang Kong and Chiang Rai so staying at Phrae would make a long haul the next day all the way to Chiang Kong without much time for sight seeing?

I'll be heading to Nong Khai the next day so this will be a perfect break in the journey.

I & most of the others will be at the Nam Thong Hotel I think.

The convenient rendezvous point is The Khrua Hom restraurant nearby the hotel.

The rendezvous time = happy hour. 5.30Pm + or earlier. Everyone will be nearby & you will see farang on bikes.
I maybe down there in the area on Tuesday for some furniture research.

It was a great night Brian. Glad both you & Mon enjoyed yourselves. You guys fitted right in.

Phrae Wednesday 26 September 2018

Guys stayed at 3 hotels around town, but the core group was at the Nam Thong as suggested.
The rendezvous then was the Krua Hom just near the Nam Thong - happy hour started here.

Ben came from Mae Sarieng
Ian from Chiang Saen.
Me from Chiang Khong
and the rest came from Chiang Mai.
A nice welcome is extended to Brian& Mon, first timers who also came from Chiang Mai. I certainly hoped you guys enjoyed yourselves as you certainly seemed to fit in.

The dinner was across the intersection at the new T Bone steak house

& we positively swamped the place on the night, in a good way = everyone enjoyed their meal & thought it was top value. 3 Cheers Phrae & the T-Bone steak house.

next month's venue is Mae Chaem on the last Wednesdsay on the month = Wednesday 31st October. 3 days before the annual GTR MHS Memorial Ride. See you all there for both events.
