Aliexpress now sell replacement screens way cheaper than eBay.
I got two units with black lines running across the screen. I plan to hand it to one of the phone ''magicians' here in Nan.
Will update this tread when done.
As for missing/broken buttons, some electrical tape will sort that out.

Hey Oddvar,
I’ve done this any number of times. The only difficult part is getting the ribbon cable into its socket. I also found out that there is a limit to how many times you can insert cables into the ribbon socket. Maybe 2 or max 3 new digitisers. I just bought a second hand 650 out of the States. It’s a shame they stopped making this series. The 700 series (which I have) are expensive and unduly complicated compared to 600 series.

And another thing, that looks too cheap. I’ve bought the same suggesting it was a digitiser,/screen combo, turned out to be screen only. The digitisers from the same factory usually cost me aud$90-110. The digitiser has the flat ribbon cable and the screen, a very small plastic plug. If your screen has black lines and it’s not a cracked screen, it’s the digitiser/screen combo you need. Picture attached of digitiser complete with screen.
