Suzuki “Katana” 1993. Great running bike, smooth and strong. Brand new Dunlop tires (Japan) front and rear. New battery and rear brake pads. Stainless exhaust, dual front disk brakes. Invoice. 35,000 Baht.

From what I've read on the forum here plates run 20,000 to 40,000 for a bike with the invoice.
Never seemed worth the trouble or expense.
Outside of the city, doesn't seem like anyone takes notice.
This bike is great on the roads outside of town, it's a real joy to ride.
Selling because I bought another bike and don't have room in the garage.

Blimey, that's my old Katana! I sold it to a Brit living in Mae Sai in 2006 and recognise it because of the Yoshi and the high bar conversion I did on it to save my poor old back.

Indeed, a nice little bike that went, handled and stopped well!

Cheers,

Pikey.

Must be the same Brit I bought it from, now living in Doi Saket.
He said he got the bike up North.
Good move on the high bar conversion, makes the bike very comfortable.
Really a fun cruiser.
I've done about 1000k on the bike, all trouble free.
Just had the guys at G3 cycle shop give it the once over and address anything that was an issue.
It's ready to ride.

Matt.

Thanks David for posting these pictures for me!

Just realized I've got the wrong email address on here (not cut out to be a salesman, I suppose).

I've dropped the asking price to 30,000 baht in an attempt to get the bike out of the garage!
