Enduro Trip in October / November 2009 but which company???

Hello together,

I plan to make a Offroad bike trip in northern Thailand and looking for the best company who arange these trips. Do you have any clue, which will be a good choise. These are the companys I already found!

The guys that live in Thailand don't use tour companies... they ride self supported, and would probably recommend the same for you if you were sticking to sealed roads...

One of the GT-Rider group has a tour company... http://transmotosport.com I haven't ridden with Mark, so I can not recommend them one way or the other...

Sorry, no experience with any of the companies in your links..

The amount of repeat customers that Mark gets speaks volumes of the quality of his tours. Just ask the Triumph guys! Mark is also very knowledgeable on both the routes and history/local customs of the area. I'd go with transmotosport.

I only joined one guided tour, riding the perfect adventure bike, a Yamaha RD 350 YPVS. The luggage was in one big roll , no panniers. Remember a sleepless night near 2000 m in the mountains due to cold.

We had our own bikes and I was really unhappy most of the time. the group was either too fast or too slow for my liking.

Now I'm doing my own thing. Will rent a bike and ride. If it's raining cats and dogs, I might stay another day at some guesthouse. With a GT Rider map, I hope it will turn out all right.

Have you made a decision yet?

I can recommend this company for off-road tours. I don't know, but he might be able to suggest a guide or go with you himself for a few days.
