The new 148-horsepower (899) superbike was unveiled at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt this week. Two additional new models, which “will share the sport value of the brand,” will be shown in Milan in November, the CEO said.

So the only reason for the 899 is that it's cheaper than the 1199, right? As it has less power and is also slightly heavier than the 1199.
