Doi Inthanon Back To Khao Kho

I'm planning the last 2 or 3 days from Doi Inthanon back to Khao Kho for this years 11/12 day trip in December.
Past routes....
2017 have been along R11 Lamphun, Lampang to Phitsanulok R12 to Khao Kho,
2018 was from Khao Kho to Mae Sot R12, its allways been kinda hot and straight ahead going wearing out the middle of my tread, time for something different if possible !

Maybe a cruise along R11 for a night at Sirikit Dam and drop down to Uttaradit then into Phu Tubberk....

Appreciate any warm fuzzy thoughts on what ""Diavel friendly"" roads you'd take or worth while sites to consider along the way.

Many options there

1. R1010 from Chom Thong into R106 and southbond all the way, past Li then cross R1 and into R1024 via Wang Chin and then cross R11 ans into R1023 back road to Phrae and then further on to Sirikit Dam.
2. From Chiang Mai R1317 til you meet R1257 the magnificent Chae Son rd. Can be a bit slippery in and right after the rainy season so beware. Then 1287 to Chae Hom and further R1335 which will take you down to R1 ~20-30 kms north of Lampang.

R106 is a bit boring at first but the southern part is really winding and entertaining on a motorbike...
