Crossing the border from Laos to Vietnam

Hi all,

I am a new member. I am planning a trip from Issan Thailand to Vietnam through Laos. I am a Canadian who lives in Thailand. I own a Honda BC500X. could someone give some tips about crossing the border from Laos to Vietnam? and any other tips regarding this trip.

You need to go through a tour company, Buy a package. You can't just rock up & ride in.

For crossing from Laos to Vietnam, make sure you have your visa sorted in advance, it can save you a lot of hassle. Also, be ready for some paperwork and maybe a bit of waiting at the border.
