There is new "Calendar Events" tool available in Posts, in the Thread Tools drop-down...
Once the event Thread/Topic has been added to the Calendar, details will appear in the right sidebar's "Upcoming Events Calendar."
Note: clicking on the Upcoming Events Calendar heading in the sidebar also opens the full Calendar.
