Thailand is a reasonably lengthy country & if you're travelling to a destination at another end of the country you may not want to ride both ways.

Fortunately there are a couple of options for transporting your bike across the country.

By the Post Office

Post A Bike

Post your bike via the Thai post office

Shipping bike from bkk via thai post

By Train
Bike on train CM->BKK?

Ship bike BKK to Nong Khai and cross to Vientiane?

By Truck
There is a professional trucking company that delivers new motorbikes for the dealers

A nationwide transport company with offices in Pathum Thani & Chiang Mai & ...?

Pick up & delivery, door to door. I chose to go from Piston Shop in Chiang Mai because I knew they also used Embassy Freight, plus it would be convenient for me to then pick up a rental bike from Mr Mechanic for a few days.

A recent exhausting ride & subsequent excessive weariness saw me in need of some bike transport (with rider) from Loei to Chiang Mai,
A post on facebook looking for suggestions turned up a few replies, but in the end I opted to use this contact recommended by my son.

Auan So Good

He's obviously working in the logistics biz & within 45 minutes I had a confirmed pick at my hotel in Loei.
5500 baht Loei - Chiang Mai direct, non stop with me on board as pax.

The pick-up arrived, the yellow killer machine was gift wrapped & wheeled up into the storage on the back.

And the lengthy Vstrom only just fits.

7 hours later i was in Chiang Mai @ the Panerai hotel, well satisfied with the journey & service.
A husband & wife team from Udon who work with mr Aun, picking up & delivering cargo all around the North & North-East of Thailand.

The driver was smooth, cautious & obeyed the speed limits all the way. I was impressed. Steady & reliable he was.
