Arriving in KL this summer (2021)

Hello all fellow riders, to Admin thank you for letting me join this forum. I am going to be living in KL for some time starting summer of 2021, having lived and ridden all over the world I am very excited to explore South East Asia further.

I have a question for all you Malaysia experts, should I bring with me my trusted steed? it is a 2012 BMW R1200GSA, I love it to death and the idea to leave it in the US does not sit well with me. also you can find me on Instagram if interested in following my rides and other shenanigans'

Importing bikes to Malaysia is difficult. Malaysia also protects its local manufacturing industry (although it is focused on small capacities).

I am excited, having lived in Ha Noi Viet Nam for a couple years not too long ago, I got to say I love riding in South East Asia. looking forward to meet with and ride with fellow motorcyclists.
